Family Session at the Haileybury Waterfront | Joannie and Her Kids
There’s something special about photographing families in a place that already holds so many memories.
Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting up with Joannie and her three children—William, Ariane, and Bella—for a family photo session at the beautiful waterfront in Haileybury Ontario.
I had asked Joannie if she would be willing to help me build my family photography portfolio by allowing me to photograph her and the kids. She was more than willing to help, and I’m incredibly grateful that she trusted me to capture these moments for her family.
From the moment we started, it was clear how close this family is. There were plenty of laughs, genuine smiles, and those natural moments that make family photographs so meaningful. The Haileybury waterfront provided a perfect backdrop, with the calm water and beautiful scenery adding to the relaxed atmosphere of the session.
William brought a calm presence, while Ariane and Bella added lots of energy and personality to the session. Watching the four of them interact made it easy to capture authentic moments that truly reflect the love and connection they share.
One of the things I love most about family photography is preserving this season of life exactly as it is right now. Children grow quickly, and the little moments we sometimes take for granted today often become the memories we treasure most.
